Stage 84: Agreement

Intro: Asuka, counterattack.

Scene: Outside, in the midst of battle
Asuka: Grrraah!
*Asuka stabs an Eva dead with a progressive knife*
Asuka: That's 4.  Next!

Scene: Inside Nerv headquarters
*Soldiers walk in on Misato.  Misato has a grenade pin in her mouth and
shows the shocked soldiers the grenade.  It explodes*
Misato (dead): Kaji, this was the right thing to do, right?

Scene: Elevator to the cage
Shinji: *sob* *sob* Misato...
*Elevator arrives, Shiji finds the Eva covered in bakalite*

Scene: Outside
Asuka: Kyaaaaa!
*Asuka cuts an Eva's arm's off, lance falls to the ground.  Asuka makes
several (ed: untranslated) battle grunts while crushing an Eva skull and
lunges for the lance*
Asuka: I won't lose!
*Asuka has a lance battle with an Eva and slits its throat*

At the command center,
Makoto: What's it look like outside?
Maya: Less than 1 minute until it deactivates.  At this rate, Asuka will...

*Asuka slices an Eva in two*

Scene: Cage
Shinji: No way, this can't be happening.  I made a promise with Misato to go
and save Asuka.  I made a promise yet I can't move Eva...that's no good.
Move.  Mother, move.  Move, mother!!!
*Eva-01 activates, breaking out of the bakalite and crushing some nearby
soldiers*
Shinji: Mother...

Outro: Eva awakens!  Shinji and Asuka's destiny is...

Guess next month will be a pretty big month for seeing how this is going to
play out with respect to instrumentality.
